At the southern tip of the island you can visit the oldest building on Gasparilla Island. It was constructed in 1890 and is one of just six lighthouses in Florida that is open to the public. Be sure to visit the museum and gift shop inside the lighthouse. Check out their website for current hours of operation. (941) 964-0060

Welcome to our quaint little island!

Boca Grande Marina, is within walking distance to the Historic Boca Grande downtown area where you’ll discover quaint Shops, Galleries, Boutiques, Restaurants and Lodging.

Arrive by boat and rent a Golf Cart to see the island in style.

Boca Grande is synonymous with fishing! Hire a professional captain to spend the day backwater fishing around the Charlotte Harbor, drifting Boca Grande Pass, or offshore in the Gulf of Mexico.

Enjoy soft, white sandy beaches and take a dip in the Gulf of Mexico. There are 3 main public beaches that are part of Gasparilla Island State Park. There are also marked public beach accesses between First and 19th Street. Keep in mind that you will be required to pay a small fee to park at the State Parks.

Visiting Boca Grande

Historic Rear Range Light

Our resident fishing guide, Captain Marty Scott, has been fishing the Charlotte Harbor and Boca Grande area for over 30 years! Marty has a fleet of 24' Avengers, and a team of dedicated, experienced Captains that he can set you up with. No matter what species you want to target - Tarpon, Snook, Redfish, Shark, Grouper or Snapper - you'll leave Boca Grande with a memorable fishing trip to brag about.

This path, and an accompanying jogging/walking path, is part of Florida's Rails-to-Trails project. It provides passage along the entire length of the island for bikers, joggers and golf carts. Many visitors come to the island just to meander down the path...

The 105-foot range light, owned by the United States Coast Guard, has been lighting up our shoreline since 1927. You will see the range light at the first public beach as you head south on Gulf Boulevard. (850) 245-2157
