Looking for something to do? Boca Grande Marina is near many great shops, restaurants and areas of interest on the island. Arrive by boat and rent a Golf Cart to see the island in style, or contact one of our experienced Charter Captains and spend the day fishing the back water around Charlotte Harbor. Or, go salt water fishing offshore in the Gulf of Mexico.

The Port Boca Grande Lighthouse
At the southern tip of the island you can visit the oldest building on Gasparilla Island. It was constructed in 1890 and is one of just six lighthouses in Florida that is open to the public. Be sure to visit the museum and gift shop inside the lighthouse. Check out their website for current hours of operation.

Historic Rear Range Light
The 105-foot range light, owned by the United States Coast Guard, has been lighting up our shoreline since 1927. You will see the range light at the first public beach as you head south on Gulf Boulevard.

                                                                   
The Gasparilla Inn & Club
The Inn was built in 1913 and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. It has been host to many well known guests including Thomas Edison, Henry Ford, the George H.W. Bush family and many others. You will see their 18-hole golf course on your starboard side if you are coming into Boca Grande Marina from the water.

Our Beaches
Enjoy soft, white sandy beaches and take a dip in the Gulf of Mexico. There are 3 main public beaches that are part of Gasparilla Island State Park. There are also marked public beach accesses between First and 19th Street. 

Bike/Golf Cart Path
This path, and an accompanying jogging/walking path, is part of Florida's Rails-to-Trails project. It provides passage along the entire length of the island for bikers, joggers and golf carts. Many visitors come to the island just to meander down the path...

Banyan Street
A trip down Banyan Street is a must-do! Don't forget to bring your camera and take time to stroll through the shade and marvel at the beautiful banyan trees that line this street.
